Design Exit 2021

Design Exit is an annual exhibition of the least year graphic design students of Dalarna University – My concept and branding for the 2021 Design Exit was voted as a winner.

When I started to design the visual identity, I was playing with a lot of shapes in different colors. I wanted this concept to mirror the movement, as me and my class are moving forward from university to work life. The project included a website project, social media content creation and management, PR material, print product design and a live stream event planning and creation.

Because of the COVID-19 situation, the exhibition was held on distance trough the website where an VR exhibition was screated. The PR material included customized facemasks, popcorn, and handsanitizer.

For the design I chose to continue with different shapes that also include text in different forms. The blue symbolizes the sky but it’s also the color of bravery and dedication. Blue represents introspective journeys and symbolizes wisdom and depth of understanding, all that our class of 2021 represented.
